Installing a lift on the Jeep was a month long learning process, but the end result is well worth it!Read More
I've been hanging my helmets and coats on some old and ugly looking shovel/rake rack that I found at Lowes one day. I always wanted something like the guy at this page makes, but could never justify spending $70-150 on a coat rack. I did the next logical thing and bought a welder, got some cheap motorcycle chain off of eBay, taught myself to make some crappy welds and welded one up myself!
After all of the welding was done, I needed to have somewhere to mount it to. I found a scrap piece of 2x6 and went to work on it with the torch to give it that burnt look. A couple of screws later and the mount was complete! Now I have to find somewhere to mount it in my garage that will be accessible!
This is the third motorcycle that I owned. I bought it off of a friend who found out he was having a baby, with the intention of turning it into a cafe racer. After it sitting for a year without any work being done to it, I decided to let it go. It would have been a shame to start cutting up a nearly complete bike, when the next owner was going to do a restoration on it.
